Madly Coastal- the mangalorean & coastal delivery kitchen | Bangalore
As an avid food lover, I always crave for good food irrespective of their origin. But there are few cuisines that entice me more, and Mangalorean is definitely one of them. A collective of dishes from the kitchens of Udupi , and other Mangalorean communities like the Tuluvas, Goud Saraswat Brahmins, Mangalorean Catholics and the Bearys, is called Mangalorean Cuisine. Recently I came across a cloud Kitchen in Indiranagar, Bangalore , called Madly Coastal, run by Stelida, food lover from the Konkan coast.

She has curated the menu using the recipes inherited from her great grand mother, with an aim to preserve the family culinary legacy and serving the patrons with tastes she had since childhood in her kitchens.

From the menu, we tried the Pork Bafat, Mutton Stew and Chicken Ghee Roast, along with the chef special Peas Pulav. For us, the pork dish was the clear winner with great flavours and textures. The Ghee roast could have been more aromatic and flavourful with cuts of chicken. I hope that they also include Mangalorean sides like sana , neer dosa etc in the menu. Overall a great place to order from. You can order directly or order online through well known food delivery platforms in the city.
