Restaurant Review : LEON GRILL , Marathalli , Bangalore

The penchant for Grills and Barbecues is well known among the Bangaloreans as many Indian and international brands are thriving in recent years.

Some of us may be aware that the Grill is relatively quicker method than the Barbecue that is much slower method consuming lesser heat.

With presence in Bangalore for more than a year in Bangalore , Leon Grill has seven outlets in the city ,serving the Turkish , Lebanese , Mediterranean doners , grills and sandwiches. Prominently located on Marathalli on outer ring round opposite Park plaza , the ambience is well lit and modern with lot of fancy posters , bike arts etc with ample comfortable seating. And yes they do play some good music throughout the working hours.

Well we ordered the Paneer Kabab Platter for my dear friend while I chose to order Chicken Doner wrap. The former was a meal in itself with ample salad , fairly marinated and grilled paneer Kababs served with Khubus / pita bread while the my Doner was decently good , though I felt that chicken shawarma filling could have been more instead of the veggie garnishing inside.

Our meal was well complimented by the two smoothies namely Yogurt and the Oats. Among the two , the Yogurt smoothie was a absolute winner with its distinct flavours while we found that Oat smoothie was quite thick in consistency for our liking.
