HSR’s first Microbrewery -Brother Barley Brewing Company
The HSR residents had always lamented the absence of Microbrewery , though there is abundance of them in its neighbourhood. However things have changed with the recent opening of the Brother Barley Brewing Company (BBBC) , the three storied microbrewery in Sector Seven main road.
Fondly called here as Brother Brews, one will find the 6 brews with very interesting names. From the pale light bodied “Leaping Leprechaun” to fizzy dark pale, light bodied “Puca Parody “ , the red, toasty & heavy malted “The Dark Dullhan” to the light yellowish & heavy bodied “Sirens of the Sea” , the pale cloudy with citrus orange flavour and medium bodied “Butterfly perfect” to “Shamrock” , the pale coloured smooth creamy brew with white head , the choices here are quite pretty decent. The signature cocktails , mocktails with array of wines and liquor collection completes their bar menu.
Surprisingly the food reminds me of a cafe menu with choices of soups , salads, pot roasts, international appetisers, pizzas & pastas , platters &Â breads. Asian and Indian mains and of-course deserts. Predictably the food is just average and barely compliments the drinks.
