Enjoy Gujarati Marwari Food Fest at Indian Kitchen, Bangalore ( 1-9 March,2016) -

IMG 6991 1 e1456752310912 Last sunday , I was invited for the preview of Gujrati Marwari Food Festival at the recently opened “Indian Kitchen” with few foodie friends. I was immensely overjoyed to try this cuisine since I belong the same Indian region.

The Indian Kitchen is known for serving culinary experiences from across the India. Situated next to the iconic Barton center on MG road and very close to the metro station, it has a mesmerizing ambiance with comfortable seating ideal for families and friends.

It also has a good looking bar with a over head racks to keep the liquor bottles , certainly eye appealing for me and most of others.

The all vegetarian delicacies at the Gujarati Marwari Food Festival can be relished between March 1st and 9th , 2016 at Indian Kitchen.

The Indian Kitchen showcases the culinary style that is reminiscent of over 5 centuries old history of evolution of various diverse cultures in the Indian sub-continent.The Indian food has been influenced by the various invaders that ruled our country over the period of time.

The festival has some delectable chaats from the region too. My pick from the menu were the mouth watering Papdi Chaat and the unmissable Panipuri ,though the other options of Sev Puri and Dahi Batata Puri were equally delicious.

This Gujrati Marwari food feast also serves some great Indian varieties of rotis too. The stuffed Moong Dal Roti , Thick Sundari Roti , Gujrati Rice Rotla and variations of puris enhance the entire culinary experience.

The dessert spread here includes the Moong Dal Shira , Kaju Khopra Ka Shira , Puran Ouri and Rabdi Malpoa. My personal favorites here were the two shiras or the halwa as we fondly called the,

Certainly a treat for all those who love Gujrati and Marwari cuisines in Bangalore.
