Goat Mutton Curry | Recipe
Read Time:1 Minute, 38 Second
If you ask me my choice of meat, it would be always Goat over any other meat. Not only I find it highly delicious , goat meat is leaner than other meats, when it comes to fat content. Do you know that it has higher levels of iron when compared to a similar serving size of beef, pork, lamb and chicken.
Today I am going to share a very simple Mutton Korma recipe that my mother used to cook for our family. I prefer slow cooking technique as it helps in retaining flavourful juices in the dish.

- Mutton Goat 500 gms
- Oil 1/4 cup
- Ginger Garlic paste 4 tbsp
- Dahi / Yoghurt 200 gmÂ
- Red chili powder 3 tbspÂ

- Cumin Powder 2 tbsp
- Gram Masala powder 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste

- Add mutton pieces to it
- Cook them in the pan with covered lid till they turn golden brownÂ
- Now add yogurt to it and cook till the excess curd water dries up
- Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt and stirr well so that they mix well with curd and mutton pieces
- Cook for another few minutes
- Add 300 ml of water and increase the heat to bring it to boil
- Then reduce heat to low flame and cover the an with the lid
- Allow it to simmer for around 30 minutes.
