Go Med with Café Mezzuna -

The next best thing to eating food, is talking about it. And nothing is better than my blog for this.

The most eagerly awaited Mediterranean, European and Italian cuisine restaurant near my office (UB City) finally opened at St. Marks road last month. Being a Food hunter, I am always on a lookout for great food places and this cuisine is close to my heart as I have stayed in that region for a considerable period.

Cafe Mezzuna , the place known for its reveling new world menu that serves Mediterranean, Italian, with Mediterranean, Moroccan, East Asian,Spanish, French and Italian flavors. It has already wooed foodies in cities like Kolkata and Pune with its offerings.

The dishes had a old world charm with a right dash of urbane taste to it. With a menu of new world continental dishes with Mediterranean, Moroccan, East Asian and Italian flavours, Mezzuna , I was told, that it combines old world charm with a hint of contemporary. Traditional recipes are made with select, healthy ingredients and swift modern touches – a true sign of progressive, urban cuisines.

Situated on the underground floor with three types of seating , in a lovely Italian country side trattorias ambiance was a memorable experience for us.Since we were seven friends so we ordered a lot from their lavish menu. And that was blessing in disguise as we ended up trying lot of the dishes from the cuisine on offering.

The olive drizzled pastas, hand made fettuccine, thin crust pizzas, crepes and lots of other fresh deliciousness food on our table, it was truly a memorable feats for us.
