Feast’s Market Brunch at Sheraton Bangalore
Since the childhood days, when my father was posted usually in semi urban / rural areas , the Farmer’s market has always been a attraction for me.The concept of weekly bazars like “Budh bazar” (Wednesday market) or “Shani Bazar” (Saturday market) etc had always fascinated me.Here one could roam around a temporary market place featuring foods sold directly by farmers to consumers.
Farmers’ markets typically consist of booths, tables or stands, outdoors or indoors, where farmers sell fruits, vegetables, meats, and sometimes the prepared foods and beverages. These are distinguished from public permanent markets open year-round, and offer a variety of non-farmer/producer vendors, packaged foods and non-food products.
Such markets exists worldwide and reflect their local culture and economy. Their size ranges from a few stalls to several city blocks. In some cultures, live animals, imported delicacies unavailable locally, and personal goods and crafts are sold.
At Sheraton Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway, one of my favourite is the Feast, the Signature multi-cuisine all day dining restaurant.
Known for offering a mesmerizing dining experience to the guests with live cooking counters, mini-floating kitchens at an appealing price.
During the lunch, I feasted on a lavish brunch menu that had a amalgam of local food, Asian cuisine such as the Thai , Chinese & Malaya along with the choicest of International and Continental favourites like pastas , grills and roasts.
What I liked most about the whole concept was the live counters that offer you freshly prepared food, or a la minute as we say. With soothing live music in the environment, the guests also have the option of ordering dishes from the a la carte, rich, delectable desserts and specially prepared salad and fruit make a perfect wrap- up to a magnificent feast.
The specific counters and open kitchens serve to the varied palate and the gamut of food on offer makes it a perfect Sunday haven for family and friends to pamper their taste buds with the eclectic food selections.
The ambiance of the place is a tastefully done amalgamation of the innovative and modern style of architecture with ceiling high glass to bring in the sunshine during the daytime. The botanical garden around the bar and the kitchen adds further to its charm. With futuristic and contemporary décor and comfortable seating, this lively dining venue is an excellent change to the conventional restaurant-dining environment.
