Amidst all the hustle and bustle of 100 feet road in Indiranagar, finally I found garden of Solace. A pet friendly brew pub with cosy interiors and alfresco garden seating, Daffy’s Brewgarden reminds me of no-frill, under the open sky drinkeries in the yesteryears Bangalore.

Do you know that this old school pub is a tribute to Daffy, one of the pet dogs, who always lived the life on his own terms when he was alive !

Strategically situated on the ground floor of the pyramid shaped structure that also houses the ‘Arena Brewpub’, the food here is quintessentially Indian, with majority of dishes from the Maharashtra, Goa and the southern states of India ruling the menu. The focus here, is primarily on the taste, as the dishes are served with the minimalistic presentation.

Some of my favourites here are the Gowdru Mutton Chops, Natti Chicken Saaru, Chembur Vada Pav, Chicken Donne Biriyani and Chembur Vada Pav, though I admit I have lot to try here in my subsequent visits. For those who love to drink, this place serves IMFL, wines, cocktails and mocktails along with their range of beers from their microbrewery.

In a nutshell, This place has great vibes, excellent southern food and great range of beverages at an affordable price.
