Contactless Takeout service launched by McDonald’s India’s (West and South)
For me, since my childhood, McDonald’s has always been synonymous with my kind of Burger. However, due to recent lockdown to curb ongoing pandemic, my visits to favourite burger joints were halted temporarily. However, I continued ordering them through McDelivery app. As now the Unlock process has started around the country, I decided to visit the McDonalds in my vicinity.
When I reached the outlet, I was pleasantly surprised to see McDonald’s India practising Contactless Take-Out service. Here, the installed McDelivery app on my iphone came out handy as I selected the ‘Take-out’ option there, chose “Bengaluru -ORR Central Mall” and ordered from their online menu.
As my city is experiencing cooler climate these days, I decided to go for a Hot Cappuccino, while waiting for my take way order to be freshly prepared. My order for the day included recently launched McSpicy Double Decker Chicken Burger and BBQ Chicken Burger from the Gourmet collection, along with the McSpicy Fried Chicken. And Yes, we could not resist their BOGO (Buy One Get One) offer on Chicken & Rice and ended up ordering that as well for our meal.
The entire experience was a smooth affair as I paid online at the special kiosk and later collected my order safely from their store’s take-out point in a contactless mode.

It was really heartening to see my favourite Brand McDonald’s fully geared up for the new normal, and committed to Golden Guarantee of 100% safe and delicious customer experience. When enquired, I was told by the outlet manager that they have upgraded safety and hygiene practices at restaurants by implementing a 42-pointer checklist across dine-in, delivery, takeout, drive thru as well as at their suppliers’ end.
