Originating from Eigashima Shuzo, one of Japan’s oldest family-run distilleries with 100 years of whisky-making experience., Akashi Red Label Blended Whisky is quite an elegant whisky. Known for its cleanness, harmony and precision in the bottles, it exhibits rich stone fruit and citrus notes, and a mellow vanilla flavor that lingers on the finish. It is aged in American White Oak Shochu casks for 2 years, and aged in ex-bourbon casks before finishing in ex-sherry casks for 1 year.
