Marata Ruchikaram is quaint place in the central kormanagla that serves one of the best donne biryani and other dishes from the Karnataka . Recently I was here with some of my friends to try their breakfast fare.

The Donne Biryani is a special pulav made from zeera samba rice ,served in a Donne (container made out of dry banana or other leaves) and is a speciality of Karnataka. I absolutely love this kind of biryani ever since I started living in Bangalore.

We also tried the Kaal Soup ( Paya / trotter think clear soup ) that had awesome flavours and goes well with any bread or idly.
