Restaurant Review : Sea Rock – the Legends of coastal cuisine, Bangalore | India
Our quest for authentic coastal Indian fare in central Bangalore finally ended at Sea Rock. Established in 1985 at Sheshadripuram , this legendary place is known for amazing seafood from the Konkan coast that includes delicacies from culinary hubs of Mangalore, Kundapur and Karwar.Â
Be it a Fish , chicken or veg Thali for wholesome launch , or array of sumptuous Mangalorean fish and sea food starters like the Masala , Rawa or Naked fry style with favourite sea food like pomfret , kane , crab or seer to chose from , their menu is a beautiful symphony of coastal delights.
Missing their Chicken Ghee Roast would be a cardinal sin,so will be their main dishes in various traditional coconut based curries.Though my list of dishes to try is endless , Clam Sukka ,  Pomfret Pulimunchi , Kane Rawa fry are also worth trying.
Vegetarians too would not be disappointed as they have some amazing dishes like Mushroom & Paneer Ghee Roasts , Mangalorean moong dal Padengi Gassi, the drumstick Nuggekai Curry , colocasia leaves Pathrode among others. Just for information, they also have number of Chinese and Mughlai options for those who are looking for other food preferences.
